What if you are pregnant at time of IUD insertion?

I had an IUD inserted last week. They did not preform a pregnancy test. I took 4 pregnancy tests today since I am 1 day late, just for piece of mind, and they all came up positive. What happens if you are pregnant at time of insertion? Will the baby survive or will I most likely have a miscarriage? It was the copper paragaurd IUD, not the hormonal one.
