Medicaid covered my IUD insertion. Is removal covered even though I am no longer on medicaid?

I chose the mirena IUD for birth control after having my son. I thought that 5years of BC payed for while I was covered by pregnancy medicaid was a fantastic deal, and the failure rate was very low. 6months later I want the dammed thing OUT, and I'm kicking myself for not thinking about what it might cost for removal. Obviously, the two month post partum coverage is gone... I guess I should be asking more along the lines of "how much is it likely to cost to have it removed?"
